Harold (Hal) W. Wells, IV, MBA
In 1997, Hal graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. After graduation, he went to Atlanta, Georgia where he started working for The Travelers in their claims unit. After two years, he came back to Wilmington and join Harold W. Wells & Son, Inc.
Hal began in the firm’s Employee Benefits division as an Account Executive, and is a licensed Life & Health, Property/Casualty and Medicare/LTC agent. Hal specializes in helping employers with anywhere from 10 to 300 employees with their corporate benefit programs. In 2004, Hal received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
Hal is the Vice President of the Employee Benefits Division of Harold W. Wells & Son, Inc. He also serves as an officer of the Corporation. Hal is on the National Board of Council of Employee Benefit Executives (CEBE), a part of the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB). He is also a member of Aflac’s National Broker Advisory Board. Hal’s knowledge of the benefits business, coupled with his MBA, allows him to create real value for his customers. Hal is very forward-focused, and understands what it takes to help his customers in the ever-changing Employee Benefits marketplace.
Hal resides in Wilmington, N.C., with his wife Meredith and their two children Liza and William.
