Rhett Graham
Rhett Graham is an Account Executive who joined the Commercial Insurance department of Harold W. Wells & Son, Inc. in 2005. Rhett’s experience in both amateur and professional golf lends itself to a greater understanding of the golf course insurance market.
After one year of playing golf for Arizona State University, Rhett transferred to Coastal Carolina University where he also played on the Chanticleer golf team. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in History in 2001, he became employed with the Tournament Players Club of Scottsdale. He helped with outside operations and logistics for the PGA Tour’s Phoenix Open. Following an attempt at the PGA Tour’s Qualifying School in 2002, Rhett interned for US Senator Lindsey Graham (SC) on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.
Seizing the opportunity presented to him in the golf business, Rhett became a golf professional at a private club in the Washington, DC area before returning to the Carolinas at Eagle Point Golf Club in Wilmington. He worked there as an assistant professional until he came to Harold W. Wells & Son, Inc.
Confident in his knowledge of the golf industry and his ability to interact with people, Rhett believes his time in both golf and politics allows him an opportunity to expand the agency’s reach into the coastal golf arena. Furthermore, having grown up in Myrtle Beach, S.C., affords Rhett a unique, local perspective to reach markets up and down the Carolina coast.
