Sharon Clay, AAI, CBIA, CISR, CPIW

Sharon Clay started her insurance career in 1992 with a small firm in Jacksonville, North Carolina. In 1999 she was recruited by another firm in the Jacksonville area to work in Commercial Insurance. Sharon held various positions including sales, marketing and customer service. In 2003 she received the opportunity to work with Harold W. Wells & Son, Inc and has held several positions; Select New Business Marketing including Select Division Supervisor, Risk Development Division and is currently the Select Production Underwriter.

She has been a member of the Wilmington Insurance Professionals since 2003 and involved with National Association of Insurance Women since 1999. She has won both the local and state level Communicate with Confidence Award.

Sharon has held several positions with the Association including Treasurer, Chaired the Safety and Education Committees, and participated on the Pages Committee. She currently holds the AAI, CISR, CBIA and CPIW designations.

Sharon resides in Holly Ridge with her son Justin.
